How Acre is run, and how to check it.

A faithful summary of the Acre whitepaper, the rules in force and how to check every reward round yourself. Where the whitepaper leaves a policy open, the value shown is the one the protocol publishes now.

01Summary

Acre is a token on Robinhood Chain that connects trading activity with stock-related digital asset rewards for eligible holders. When people buy and sell ACRE, fees are collected under the protocol's fee structure. A designated portion of those fees is used to buy supported stock-related digital assets, which are accumulated for distribution.

Holders who meet the published eligibility requirements receive a proportional share of the assets available for distribution, based on their eligible balance relative to the total eligible balance. The rules are transparent and defined in advance.

02How Acre works

  1. 1Acquire and hold ACRE. Buy and hold ACRE in a supported wallet. To qualify, a holder must meet the published eligibility rule, including the minimum holding period.
  2. 2Trading fees are collected. Each buy and sell in the official ACRE/ETH pool pays a fee in ETH. A predefined portion of collected fees funds stock-related asset purchases.
  3. 3Stock-related assets are purchased. The reward vault buys supported assets with that portion. Every completed purchase is recorded on-chain with the amount spent, amount received and the oracle price.
  4. 4Eligible holders receive proportional allocations. At each reward snapshot, assets designated for distribution are allocated by eligible balance divided by total eligible balance.
  5. 5Rewards are distributed. Eligible holders claim their allocations from the Rewards page according to the round's schedule.

03Proportional rewards

Holder reward = Total assets allocated for distribution × (Holder's eligible balance ÷ Total eligible balance)

Example from the whitepaper: if 100 units of an asset are available and a holder has 2% of the total eligible balance at the snapshot, the allocation is 2 units. Actual allocations depend on the assets acquired, the amount designated for distribution and the eligibility of all holders.

Published calculation rules: allocations are rounded down to whole base units; allocations below the rule's minimum are dropped; the rounding remainder stays in the vault for a later round. If the total eligible balance is zero, no round is created and nothing is divided.

04Holding eligibility

Acre rewards sustained holding rather than momentary ownership. The current rule version is below. Earlier versions stay published and a version that a round used can never change. Check a wallet.

05Fee and distribution policy

Fee rates could not be read

The pons token is not launched yet. The rates are set in the fee hook contract and are shown here again once it answers.
  • Each proposed round waits a 1 day review window before it opens, during which the guardian can cancel it.
  • Delivery: holders claim through their wallet. Each round has a claim deadline; unclaimed amounts return to the vault after it.
  • No compliance check is required to claim on this network.

06Treasury and transparency

The Activity page lists every indexed trade, fee and fee split with its transaction. The Treasury page separates three amounts for each asset: treasury inventory (held by the vault), reserved for rounds (held by the distributor for proposed rounds) and delivered (claimed by holders).

08Verify a round

Every round publishes its frozen inputs (the snapshot block, the rule version, every ACRE transfer up to the snapshot and the asset pools), its outputs (eligible balances, allocations and proofs) and a manifest. The distributor stores the Merkle root and the hashes of the rule and the inputs. Anyone can recompute a round with the open-source rewards engine and compare the result with the chain:

From the Acre source repository (its public link will appear in the footer once published):

pnpm install pnpm acre-verify --epoch <round> --rpc https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com --distributor 0xC35e5d1036025B5637f1cBBF14D59e38297A0969

The tool downloads the manifest named on-chain, checks the inputs hash and rule hash, rebuilds the tree and compares the root and pool amounts. Add --rebuild to rebuild the transfer list from the RPC instead of trusting the published file. Each round on the Rewards page links to its files.

09Asset rights and risks

Stock-related digital assets may represent tokenized securities, synthetic exposure or other arrangements. Their rights depend on the issuer and legal structure. They do not automatically give direct ownership of company shares or shareholder rights.

Rewards are variable and depend on actual trading activity, fee revenue, purchase execution, market liquidity and the amount designated for distribution. Acre does not guarantee any reward, return or token price. Participation involves market, liquidity, smart-contract, counterparty, treasury and regulatory risks.

Robinhood Stock Tokens may not be offered, sold or delivered, directly or indirectly, in the United States, and are restricted in other places, including Canada, the UK and Switzerland.

Acre is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Robinhood or any issuer of the stock-related assets it may hold or distribute.
